TQ Akita Training is now a Mindset Trust Akita Training provider.
All Course Fees go to funding the Mindset Akita Trust and
Akita Rescue Charities involved in the Akita Dog Rescue Adoption
programme for providing New Kennels, Food and Vets Fees for
Akita Dogs who have been abandoned and need new homes.
Zeus is a ‘Full On’ American Akita and my Personal ‘Sir 8‘. I rescued Zeus at 2yrs of age following the passing of my companion Akita ‘Oscar’, an amazing 65kg ‘Cookies & Cream American Akita’ that I owned since he was a pup.
Zeus completed the 4 standard TQ Akita Training Programmes all Akita Show Dogs have to learn to be a Crufts Standard Show Dog. All Akita Rescue Owners go through the Pre-Rescue Standard Practices as part of their training. Rescue Owners can also choose the Post-Rescue Akita Training Package with their chosen Akita Rescue Dog.

Zeus showed all the aptitudes and willingness required during his ‘Rescue Adoption Training’ to move on to learn the Advanced Training Techniques required for an Akita Dog to become A Crufts Show Standard Akita Dog.
Zeus has been trained to an Advanced Level Akita Show Dog. Zeus has all the Aptitudes to deliver very high performances in his ‘Show Dog Routines’.

TQ COURSE INFORMATION
All TQ Akita Courses come with an Educational Knowledge Share Pack full of information about the Akita Dog Breed, the course chosen and how to develop the Skills Required to own and keep a Happy Akita.
All courses are complemented with Video Recordings for reference and review purposes while providing Clients with the reminders of their day and valuable footage of their experience and learnings. Course package overviews are available in the various sections on our Home Page with Specific Requirements available by request.

Course A – Introduction to the Akita Day – 1 day
Join Zeus and I on an Introduction to owning an Akita Day and Learn in One Day what it is like to walk and own one of these wonderful Akita Dogs.
Course B – Pre-Rescue Akita Education and Training Course – 5 days
(days can be split)
For those thinking of adopting a Rescue Akita but have little or no experience, this course will give you the education and skills required to handling the Akita Dog, providing a Forever Home and keeping your Akita Happy & Well.
Course C – Post Rescue Akita Education and Training Course – 7 days
(days can be split)
For those who want to to learn how to train their Akita in Positive Behaviours after adopting their Akita or for clients who wish to develop their Akita into A Crufts Show Standard Akita.
Course D – Akita Development Training Courses – 2 to 5 days
(days can be split)
These Akita courses can be found on our Home Page or by request. They are available for New Owners and Handlers who wish to develop their Akita’s behaviour with the skills they require from their relationship and to reduce the behaviours which are not required or useful.
Course E – Specialist Akita Day Courses – 1 to 3 days
(days can be split)
These Akita Day Courses are for Clients who wish to take part in the skills for Positive Performance and Walk with A Crufts Show Standard Akita dog. All days include Educational instruction and knowledge share and come with Video Recordings of the Client working with their Akita and Zeus.

These Akita Day Courses are for High Performing Individuals who require Promotional Video Recordings using Zeus to promote the Client requirement and/or their brand and for Mental Health ‘Rest-Bite’ recovery days.
