Positive Behaviour Training is a must when owning and handling an Akita. The Akita will respond well to affection rewarding and verbal reassures when Positive Behaviour is displayed. When the Akita is in Working and Training character, knowing that they are doing well and receiving affection reward, is a reassuring cue that builds trust that the owner handler is happy with the Behaviour being displayed by the Akita.
In the Positive Behaviour course clients work with the Akita in a Public Place. A number of walk throughs and trials are practiced with the Trainer to grasp the basic routines. This is done during the Akita Walk routine so the Akita knows what their owners expect and that the Akita and Handler are happy to do the Positive Behaviour exercise in real time.
Specialist training is required to achieve the results you will see Zeus perform. After basic training, the Owner and their Akita dog will form a bond of trust to move on and complete more Positive Behaviour exercises to keep the Akita interested and agile.
