The TQ Akita Health & Care course includes an educational focus in nature areas where clients learn how to groom their Akita properly as the Akita has a double coat. The Client will learn about how to keep nails the correct size and nail clipping. How to check the Akita’s general body health, paws, gums and eyes. What is a good Home Life for an Akita and How to keep your Akita Mentally Weel as well as Physically Well.
The Health & Care course includes food and diet education including quick foods and natural food options which need preparation and cooking.

The Akita Breed is sometimes referred to as an Exotic Breed of Dog. The Akita is a ‘Hunting Dog’ and part of the ‘Spitz’ Breed. Akita Dogs must be allowed to display their natural working instinct for best Positive Behaviour results. Giving your Akita a variety of different walks and environments is important to keep the Akita interested and stimulated. A Happy Akita is a Healthy Akita.
